About the Program
The BS Information Technology (BS IT) program at PU, offered through the Faculty of Computing & Information Technology, is a four-year degree that develops skills in systems administration, network security, database management, and modern web technologies. With over 130 credit hours of challenging coursework, the program combines theoretical learning with extensive hands-on lab training. Students also complete a required two-semester Final Year Project. The program is accredited by the National Computing Education Accreditation Council under Category-X, which prepares graduates for competitive roles in Pakistan’s top tech sectors and international markets.
